Watch the videos of the NEXES European Project Final Workshop centered on Integrated Care services for chronic patients

NEXES is a European Project aimed at promoting cooperation among European Regions for capacity building of Integrated Care Systems based on Innovative Services and Technologies. Dr. Josep Roca, Director of the Lung Function Unit at the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona, is the coordinator of this project that held its Final Workshop in Barcelona on April 25th. The videos of all the presentations are now available on the project’s website.

Josep Roca: What makes an integrated care ecosystem sustainable? Key aspects of life-cycle governance

The main objective of NEXES was to validate four ICT-enabled integrated care programmes in large scale trials, targeting prevalent chronic conditions (mainly Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Congestive heart failure (CHF) and diabetes). The Final Workshop builds on the key lessons derived from the project, and is especially centered on sharing experiences and cooperation among leading European Regions to foster transition towards sustainable Integrated Care services for chronic patients.
