BITRECS (Biomedicine International Training Research for Excellent Clinician-Scientists),an IDIBAPS fellowship programme funded by the “la Caixa” Foundation opens a new call for an excellent and motivated postdoctoral researcher with a clinician-scientist profile, who are especially needed in the IDIBAPS translational research environment.
The programme offers the opportunity to dedicate themselves intensely to biomedical research for three years, with a programme that forms part of an IDIBAPS’ research group activity, and provides them with high-level training.
The selected researcher must demonstrate an excellent track record in research and have combined research with clinical practice. The programme will facilitate the translation between discoveries in biomedical research and clinical treatments and new technologies. BITRECS offers a competitive contract in a nurturing environment, scientific supervision, mentoring and opportunities for collaboration for their professional development.
In the last edition of the programme, eight researchers were incorporated out of the 28 candidates who applied.
