The organisers of this tournament, which started on Saturday 17 April[SH1] , are following all the guidelines set out by the ATP regarding COVID-19, and the Hospital Clínic is providing the organisers with its expertise and professionals, who are experts in the fight against this pandemic.
Dr. Antoni Trilla, Head of Epidemiology at the Hospital Clínic, commented that, “our institution is honoured to collaborate in this prestigious sporting event, which is of great importance for the city of Barcelona.”
Sònia Barroso, Head of the Occupational Risk Prevention Service at the Hospital Clínic, also explained that, “we have been working very closely with the RCTB and the ATP for weeks now. The success of the tournament and the application of all the anti-COVID-19 measures must represent one step further towards normalising sporting activities during the pandemic.”
