Ramon Gomis, Honorary Doctorate from the URV

Last Friday, March 31, Ramon Gomis de Barbarà, director of IDIBAPS, was awarded an honorary doctorate from the Universitat Rovira i Virigili  (URV) for his contribution to biomedical research in the field of diabetes, obesity and nutrition.

Professor Ramon Maria Miralles, Head of the Department of Medicine and Surgery of the URV, was the godfather of the honorand in the honorary degree ceremony. Joan Vendrell made the proposal to confer him an honorary doctorate.
