Lack of anticoagulant benefits in patients with atrial high-rate episodes

An international study with the participation of the Hospital Clínic-IDIBAPS and published today in the New England Journal of Medicine, suggests that oral anticoagulation does not help prevent stroke or embolism in patients with atrial high-rate episodes, in the absence of atrial fibrillation.
