The aim of this conference was to facilitate network collaboration and put different researchers in contact with each other in order to contribute to future collaborations between groups working in the field of neuroscience. The next IIS Clínic-IDIBAPS themed conferences will be on the liver and metabolic diseases (scheduled for May) and on inflammation, infections and malaria (scheduled for October)

IIS Clínic-IDIBAPS Holds a Conference on Neurosciences in Conjunction with the IRB and Sant Joan de Déu
Last week, on 26 and 27 March, the second meeting of the Clínic-IDIBAPS Institute for Health Care Research was held at the Hilton Diagonal hotel. On this occasion, the conference took a closer look at research in neuroscience, with the aim of exchanging knowledge with other pioneering centers such as the Barcelona Institute for Biomedical Research and Hospital Sant Joan de Déu. The conference dealt with different diseases (Alzheimer, Parkinson, schizophrenia and other neurodegenerative and psychiatric diseases) from the different levels of research, from basic to clinical, placing special emphasis on translational research.
