IDIBAPS is the Spanish biomedical center that has received more funds from Horizon 2020 in 2015

The European Commission has published the Horizon 2020 Monitoring report for 2015. This document includes, among others, the 50 institutions that have received the most funding for research in the calls made up to 2015.

IDIBAPS is the fifth Spanish center that has received more funding, and it is the first if considered exclusively the biomedical field. The other centers that appear are the CSIC, the ICFO, Tecnalia and the Supercomputing Center.

At this time, IDIBAPS-Fundación Clínic has a total of 11 projects funded, with a total amount of about 7 million euros.

Horizon 2020

Horizon 2020 is the European Union  framework programme that funds research and innovation projects in various thematic areas. It has almost € 80,000 million for the period 2014-2020 and researchers, companies, technology centers and public entities from any European country can apply.
