The first meetings of the governing bodies of the Clínic Barcelona Research Foundation- August Pi i Sunyer Biomedical Research Institute (FRCB-IDIBAPS) took place in June 2023.
As established in the statutes of the institution that resulted from the merger between FRCB and IDIBAPS, “the Board of Trustees is the Foundation’s governing and administrative body. It represents and manages the Foundation, and assumes all powers and functions necessary to achieve the Foundation’s purpose". The first meeting of the Board of Trustees took place on Thursday, June 29.
To ensure that the administration of governance of the Foundation is as agile as possible, the Board of Trustees has appointed a Delegate Committee. Among other things, the Delegate Committee will draw up the order of the day for Board of Trustee sessions, review documentation to be presented, conduct periodic monitoring of the work of management and monitor all pacts and agreements signed. The first meeting of the Delegate Committee took place on Monday, June 19.
