The doctors from the Clínic Barcelona, Àlvar Agustí, Antonio Alcaraz, Eduard Gratacós and Sergi Vidal-Sicart have received Reputational Leadership Awards that are presented each year by the Corporate Reputation Business Monitor (MERCO) and the Observatorio de Salud (Health Observatory). This was the second edition of these awards, which recognize and promote the reputational leadership of organizations, hospitals and healthcare specialists. The awards ceremony was held in Madrid.
The four prizewinners from the Clínic are professionals with an extensive background in their respective specialties. This is the case of Dr. Àlvar Agustí. He is a pulmonologist specializing in respiratory diseases and the diagnosis of lung cancer. Dr. Antonio Alcaraz, meanwhile, is head of the Urology Service at the Clínic, specializes in kidney transplants and is a pioneer in robot-assisted and laparoscopic surgical techniques.
Dr. Eduard Gratacós is a gynaecologist and obstetrician specializing in foetal medicine. He currently holds the position of director of the Clinical Institute of Gynaecology, Obstetrics and Neonatology at the Clínic and is also director of BCNatal—made up of the Clínic and Sant Joan de Déu de Barcelona hospitals—is a professor at the University of Barcelona and head of the IDIBAPS "Foetal Medicine" research group. Finally, Dr. Sergi Vidal-Sicart is a consultant in nuclear medicine at the Clínic and forms part of the IDIBAPS “Multimodal imaging biomarkers” research group.
Moreover, a total of 13 professionals at the Clínic Barcelona have been named finalists for the awards. They are:

- Dr. Xavier Setoain in the nuclear medicine category
- Dr. Eduard Vieta in the psychiatry category
