Thanks to the impetus provided by the fifth Clínic Barcelona Summer School, the Hospital Clínic is reinforcing its commitment to increasing public awareness of health. It is an aim that has the support and commitment of the Vila Casas Foundation, an institution that, since its founding origins, has been committed to the connection between art and science. Antoni Vila Casas's pharmaceutical training and his passion for art, made it possible to create an ars combinatoria linking the two disciplines.

About the Vila Casas Foundation:
The Vila Casas Foundation, an institution founded in 1986 by the pharmaceutical entrepreneur, Antoni Vila Casas, is a private non-profit organisation that aims to promote contemporary Catalan art. The Foundation’s essence and raison d’être is that tradition, culture and language are the cornerstones of our country’s identity.
Through four exhibition spaces that form part of our architectural heritage, the Foundation becomes a platform for displaying the permanent collection and holding temporary exhibitions of artists that form part of it.
