Dr. Thaís Armangué, pediatric neurology specialist at the IDIBAPS’ Neuroimmunology Program, received this afternoon the First accesit of the 2013 Mutual Médica Award. The award-winning research project is entitled "Synaptic autoimmunity as a cause of postviral psychosis, epilepsy and encephalopathies in childhood." Dr Anna Novials strong>, head of the IDIBAPS group Molecular and metabolic alterations in diabetes em>, participated in the ceremony remembering her career which has allowed her to receive the two major awards for research awarded by Mutual Medica, the Mutual Médica Fellowship (1993) and the Dr. Font Prize (2008).
