Based on the intense debate that took place within the framework of the Second International Seminar on Health and Sustainability, held at The Harvard Faculty Club in Boston on 18-19 April, Gesaworld Group has prepared a document entitled “The value of health innovation: a global debate”. It contains a summary of the main core ideas put forward by the different participants. Those attending the event included political representatives from several countries, directors of companies and health institutions, including Dr. Josep Maria Piqué from Hospital Clínic of Barcelona, as well as decision-makers from the sector. Participants at the seminar shared opinions and experiences regarding innovation as a means of guaranteeing the sustainability of health systems, from the perspective of healthcare practice, management and public policies.
