Dr. Analia Bortolozzi wins the Pfizer Foundation Basic Research award
The Pfizer Foundation held its XIII Institutional Act on October 30. During the ceremony, the awards for Biomedical Research, Social Commitment and Communication honoured the work of those that allow the progress of knowledge, health promotion and quality of life. The prize in the Basic Research category recognized the work of IIBB-CSIC-IDIBAPS researcher, and her team, Dr. Analia Bortolozzi. The awarded work, published in Molecular Psychiatry, presents a experimental gene therapy for treating depression more powerful than traditional pharmacological treatments currently used.
