Dr. Analia Bortolozzi among the researchers honored by CSIC for their awards in 2012-2013
The Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) held a ceremony to honour the scientific staff of this institution who during the academic year 2012-2013 received awards from other entities in recognition of their scientific achievements. Among them was the IIBB -CSIC-IDIBAPS researcher, Dr. Analia Bortolozzi, who in October 2012 was awarded with the Pfizer Foundation Basic Research Award. The winning work was developed within the IDIBAPS team Neuropharmacology and experimental neuropathology and presented a gene therapy to treat depression more powerful than drug treatments currently used. The CSIC tribute to their top scientists took place in Madrid on Thursday, June 27, at the headquarters of CSIC in Madrid.
