At IDIBAPS we are looking for candidates to apply for INPhINIT Incoming PhD scholarships from the La Caixa Foundation. Interested persons may join one of the ten IDIBAPS groups that participate in the call:

Joan Clària, Inflammation and liver disease.
Albert Compte, Theoretical neurobiology of cortical circuits.
Carlos Fernández, Mechanisms of progression in monoclonal gammopathies.
Mercedes Fernández, Translational control of liver disease and cancer.
Jordi Gràcia, Hepatic vascular biology.
Josep M. Miró, Endocarditis. Cardiovascular infections Experimental model.
Antonio Postigo, Gene regulation in stem cells, cell plasticity and differentiation, and cancer.
Pau Sancho, Plasticity and tissue repair in liver diseases.
Gisela Sugranyes, Multimodal neuroimaging in high-risk, recent-onset psychosis.
The objective of the INPhINIT Incoming program is to attract young talent of all nationalities, to carry out their doctoral thesis in the best Spanish and Portuguese research centers and units that have the distinction of excellence. This year it offers 35 places in the STEM disciplines: Life and Health Sciences, Experimental Sciences, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
The maximum duration of the program is three years, with a total maximum of €122,592 and offers training in transversal skills.
Candidates who want to apply for the scholarships must meet the following requirements:
- Experience: Being in the first four years of your research career and not having previously obtained a doctorate degree or being in a position to apply for it.
- Academic record: At the time of hiring, having completed the studies that allow enrollment in an official doctoral program in Spain / Portugal.
- Mobility: Not having resided or carried out your main activity (work, studies, etc.) in Spain / Portugal for more than twelve months in the three years immediately prior to the closing date of the call.
- Level of English: Have a demonstrable level of English (B2 or higher).
