The event served to strengthen ties between the hospital and all those who are part of Amics del Clínic.
On Wednesday, the Hospital Clínic's Fundraising and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Departments successfully organized an acknowlegment event for the Amics del Clínic, bringing together many of the hospital's donors and volunteers for an emotional tribute.
Dr. Josep Maria Campistol, the hospital’s general director, opened the event by thanking all attendees for their generosity and commitment. Following his remarks, Anna Jover, head of the Corporate Social Responsibility Department, and Núria Vilamajó, head of the Patronage Department, presented the Amics del Clínic program, highlighting achievements made possible through the support of donors and volunteers.
The panel discussion, "A Friend is a Treasure," was a moment for patients, professionals, donors, and volunteers to share their experiences and reflections on the impact of Amics del Clínic, emphasizing the importance of each element of the program and that without them it would not be possible.
The event concluded with the presentation of "Amics del Clínic Acknowledgment" awards, with a special 2024 award to Maria Bosser, a donor, volunteer, and patient, followed by a musical performance by the group G de Gospel.
This event served to reinforce the bonds between the hospital and all those who are part of Amics del Clínic, to thank them for their trust, generosity, and support, and to remind everyone that every donation or act of help, no matter how small, has a significant impact on many lives.
