During 2021, several actions of the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) initiative were carried out. First, the IDIBAPS HRS4R working group focused on preparing all the necessary documentation for the renewal of the recognition, which was sent to the European Commission in June. To carry out the preparation of the audit, the results of the survey launched to the entire research community were analysed to reach a consensus on the new action plan, which was subsequently approved by Management.
The actions that had been pending from the previous action plan were monitored and completed, such as the organisation of a training course on OTM-R (Open, Transparent and Merit-Based Recruitment) within the Stepping-Stone program. But one of the most notable actions this year was the implementation of the Toolbox IDIBAPS Talk Series, a series of talks that deal with different topics of general interest to the research community. On each occasion, a reference speaker on the topic being presented is invited.
Furthermore, it has been made a design process and preparation of the website section “Work at IDIBAPS”, where there is access to HRS4R actions, BITRECS program, Stepping-Stone courses, and others. Thus making it much intuitive and visual, a fact that was very well considered in the renewal of the HR recognition.
