A study shows that nearly 5.5% of the population has chronic widespread pain

A study led by doctors and researchers from CAPSBE, the Transverse group for research in primary care at IDIBAPS and from Hospital Clínic has determined the prevalence of chronic widespread pain (CWP) in Barcelona, which affects the 5.5% of the population. The study, published in the Pain journal, was coordinated by Dr. Antoni Sisó and is part of the Dr. Marianela Morales’ PhD directed by Drs. Siso and Manel Ramos.
