A project led by Oliva Dr. Rafael Oliva awarded a Merck Serono Research Grant for Clinical Research

Since 1991, the Fundación Salud 2000 calls annually the Merck Serono Research Grants to fund projects aimed at unpublished research conducted by Spanish research teams in various biomedical areas. Among the winners of the 2013 edition there is Dr. Rafael Oliva, from the IDIBAPS Human Genetics team, Hospital Clínic and the Department of Physiological Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, University of Barcelona.

The project directed by Dr. Rafael Oliva has been awarded in the Clinical Research category, and it is entitled: Identification of proteomic biomarkers in infertile patients’ sperm to predict the outcome of assisted reproduction. Each grant is endowed with 25,000 Euros and were announced in a ceremony at the Real Academia Nacional de Medicina in Madrid.
