6th Fira de les Il·lusions del Cervell

The brain is the most complex organ. We depend on it for the functioning of our body and the way in which we understand and perceive the world. To understand it better the 6th Fira de les Il•lusions del Cervell (Brain Illusions Fair) provides a broad repertoire of educational activities aimed at primary and secondary schools and the public in general. The fair will take place on Friday 8 May at the central Fabra i Coats pavilion (C/. Sant Adrià, 20).

The scientific organization of the event is the responsibility of Dr. Mara Diersen, a researcher at the Genomic Regulation Center (CRG), Dr. Mavi Sánchez Vives, a researcher at the Institut d’Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer (IDIBAPS) and the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation. The fair is supported by many entities, such as Barcelona City Council, the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation, the UAB Institute of Neurosciences, UPF, etc.

The activities, which will take place throughout the day, include experiments, talks, projections and even music and magic shows. This is a very complete and highly educational event for all ages.
