Hospital Clínic de Barcelona Privacy Policy

In accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (hereinafter, “the Regulation”), and in relation to the data that users enter in the different forms.

• The party responsible for the processing of your data is the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona (hereinafter “HCB”), with CIF Q0802070C, and domiciled in Barcelona, at Carrer Villarroel 170. You can contact the Data Protection Delegate through protecciodades@clinic.cat; several data processing operations will be carried out, which will be indicated on the corresponding form; these operations are:

• Data processing for the purpose of managing your request for information through this Website.
• Data processing in order to manage your professional curriculum either to respond to a specific call for applications or to become part of the job bank.
• Data processing for assistance purposes within the framework of the use of the El Meu Clínic platform.

• You have the right to access your data, request the rectification of inaccurate data or, if applicable, to request their deletion.  You can also restrict the processing of the data, object to it and withdraw consent for the use of the data for certain purposes.     You can exercise these rights by sending an e-mail to protecciodades@clinic.cat. We also inform you of your right to lodge a complaint with the Catalan Data Protection Authority (Autoritat Catalana de Protecció de Dades) in the event that you believe any action undertaken by HCB infringes your rights.

• Your data will not be disclosed to third parties or used for any purpose other than that set out in the first paragraph of this notice, unless a law provides otherwise or the data are required by the Judge, Prosecution Ministry or any public body that, according to the Organic Law on Data Protection is entitled to demand them.  

Unless specifically established otherwise, it will be necessary to fill in all the fields in the forms with accurate, complete and updated data; otherwise, the entity may hold the user responsible for any damage or harm that the entering of such data may cause.

When consent is required, it must be given by a person with full capacity to act; otherwise, consent must be given by their representative or legal guardian.

All data will be treated applying the technical and organizational security measures established by the legislation in force.

Your data will be kept as long as a legal regulation may require it or it is necessary to keep it for technical and/or organizational reasons.
