Research at the Clínic

The Pathological Anatomy Department has produced over 700 publications in recent years, mostly in high-impact, indexed journals. With a solid tradition in research, residents participate in research projects and 80% obtain a PhD.

Research is channelled through IDIBAPS and ISGlobal, which are research institutes associated with the Hospital Clínic, Barcelona, ​focusing on biopathology and respiratory, cardiovascular and renal bioengineering, as well as oncology, haematology, hepatology and the digestive system.
