Artificial intelligence and neurodegenerative diseases

Auditorium. Civic Center Golferichs. Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, 491, 08015 Barcelona..

We will explore how artificial intelligence (AI) and mathematics can revolutionize the study of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease or frontotemporal dementia. We will see the role of data and mathematical models in the analysis of these diseases, which allow us to identify patterns and make valuable predictions. In addition, we will talk about a real case where the combination of mathematics and AI has driven new advances in this field.

Led by Agnès Pérez Millán, physicist and doctor in Biomedicine. Researcher in the Alzheimer's Disease and Other Cognitive Disorders group at the Clínic–IDIBAPS and professor at the UOC.

Talk in Catalan. Free entrance. Limited capacity, with prior reservation.
