According to the WHO, sexual health is important to having a good overall state of health. For this reason, sexual problems such as erectile dysfunction affect the wellbeing of those who have them, and if they last a long time, you are advised to talk to a health professional about it. Furthermore, erectile dysfunction can be a symptom of other health problems, such as cardiovascular disease or diabetes.

Erectile dysfunction affects 1 in 5 men over their lives, and these figures rise amongst men over 50 years of age. Although it’s a very common problem, many men feel guilty or are afraid of losing their partner. To prevent it, it is recommended that you consult a professional and adopt an active role when tackling the problem. It has been shown that this change improves the response to treatment, whether it is pharmacological or psychological.

Do you want to know why erectile dysfunction occurs? After how many episodes it’s considered “dysfunction”? Can it be prevented? These and many other questions will be answered by Dr Eduardo García-Cruz, urologist at Hospital Clínic, live on YouTube. The session will take place on 14th February at 10:30 am. There’s still time to send your question!
