IDIBAPS CORE FACILITIES SEMINAR: Spatial biology in action: driving precision medicine with GeoMx-DSP technology
Esteve Auditorium, Centre Esther Koplowitz. C/Rosselló 149-153, 08036 Barcelona.

Hosted by Helena Suárez.
Spatial biology is changing the way we understand tissue structure and cell interactions, leading to new advances in precision medicine. GeoMx-DSP (Digital Spatial Profiling) technology plays a key role in this shift by combining high-plex molecular analysis with spatial context. In this seminar, we will explore how GeoMx-DSP leverages spatially resolved transcriptomics and proteomics to provide comprehensive insights into tissue microenvironments. By maintaining the architectural integrity of tissues, GeoMx-DSP allows researchers to uncover critical spatial relationships and heterogeneity within complex diseases, such as cancer and immune-mediated disorders. We will highlight key applications of GeoMx-DSP in advancing biomarker discovery, refining patient stratification, and guiding targeted therapies.
